i specifically ordered this unit to be set up for natural gas. It was delivered for use with Propane. I had to assemble the unit myself unless I wanted the store to pick it up and redeliver it in 2 days. I questioned why it wasn't set up for natural gas. Cooks great but the unit rust

Have had our unit 4 years and have loved it for the most part. It cooks great with minimal flare ups. Probably the best grill I have cooked on. We just replaced the heat tents, burners, etc. which I feel is exceptionally good. My issue is the rusting on the base of the unit, coming off in large sections. Two Year Review - Follow Up

I gave this grill a chance for 2 years and can now say it is a huge disappointment. My disappointment is largely due to the fact that it's a beautiful setup and I wanted it to work out so badly. But while it looks great, it does not work great, and the parts are a failure. Not For Everyone

I've had this grill for a month now and it is not for everyone so my advice would be to weigh all options. This grill is an infrared, so if you've never experienced cooking on infrared you should think twice about making this purchase. Cooking on this grill produces a lot of smoke, and I mean A LOT of smoke. Therefore, if you live in close proximity to your neighbors this is not the grill for you. Beware of the "Limited Warranty"

4 burner grill that doesn't get hot enough to clean. First it would not hit 300 degrees, they sent me a new HVR(gas line and gas controls) at my $18 shipping cost. That took it up for 375 degrees. I asked for a refund and was told "We do not do refunds". They sent me another HVR unit. Grill gets to 475 degrees after 28 minutes, no hotter. Infrared is a Nightmare

This is my first infrared grill and I will NEVER buy another. The system is awful, just awful. First, and arguably the worst, is the fact that "infrared" only means a series of metal plates that cover the entire flame assembly, making it impossible to see the flames. Now that I have had this grill for a year, a follow up review is in order. Unfortunately I am again unable to give this grill more than 2 stars. I have since gotten some advice from another BBQ source to reduce the amount of smoke, which is to lower heat level, and light only one burner. Decent Grill but the Electronics are suspect

I've had my grill and approximately 3 months and have used it about 10 times for simple cooking. While it's nice aesthetically, the igniter has failed for no apparent reason. We purchased a really nice expensive cover for it and are baffled with the igniter failure. Will call Charbroil and seek a warranty replacement. The light/switch on my Griddle know has failed also. It seems the electronics on Charbroil's Medallion Modular Outdoor Kitchen equipment is disappointing for their price point(s).

RUST RUST EVERYWHERE

This is the best cooking grill I've ever owned in my adult life. However, the quality of the materials is inferior to some I've owned in the past. The bottom plate below the doors is bubbling up and the gas tank tray rollers have frozen even though they were lubricated routinely.
