This was recommended to me by the counter person at Lowe’s paint department I go to. I was looking to stain an old wooden fence that was in good shape except for being very discolored and having really old dry boards that were rough… this product is thicker and helped smooth in the bumps and went on easily… I think the coverage is excellent and the fence now looks amazing…. Highly recommend .

peels off
do not buy. used this on a 2 year old pressure tx deck. covered area ok. exposed areas peeled. told to sand, clean and reapply. peeled worse after doing that. contacted Cabot this time their solution is to reimburse me the $ paid for it. now now idea what to do with the peeled areas.

Best deck paint yet for old weathered decks
As long as you prepare your old deck correctly and apply two coats of DeckCorrect you will have excellent results like I did. I spent the time removing all previous paints and brushed on one coat of DeckCorrect and rolled on the second coat of DeckCorrect. I also allowed it one week to fully cure before I put anything on it.

Old deck renewal
My deck was over 10 years old and it had not been very well taken care of. This stuff is thick as peanut butter and it takes a while to apply. But it’s been over a month and so far it has been great.
