Purchased in March 2016. The only problem is the way the guard is made, it lost a tab so it works for awhile and then comes off. I need to buy a new guard. It works really well

This thing is not great

I have this weed-wacker for a little under a year. I bought it as part of a blower combo. The blower has been satisfactory. I also purchased a bush trimmer, as well, for an extra battery. Using 2 batteries I can get my 1/4 acre lot done (this includes trimming and blowing). The batteries do not last long. If you buy this you really need two, I wouldn’t try and go on just one. Absolute Garbage

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This trimmer does not auto-feed line and only allows for a single line out of the trimmer head. I love Craftsman products, but they should be ashamed of themselves for this. I lost track of the amount of times I had to stop and get more line out only to make it five feet before I needed to do it again. It would have been better for me to buy a pair of scissors and cut it by hand. This trimmer also fails to cut grass on the first pass which made it all the more frustratin...

Craftsman Weed Eater

I returned product due to battery not working. The sales clerk was aware that this was an issue with this product, she said she was surprised product had not been recalled, she explained many customers had returned product for the same issue. She hesitated to give me a refund without receipt...I understand. Thank Goodness I had used my rewards phone number at time of purchase which recorded the transaction and I was able to get a full refund.

The battery is dead before I can get around my house. It was new but I did not use it until this spring and found that the battery was already over 4 years old and JUNK!

First battery that came with it will not charge the head rotates to engage and only clicks once in a while so it will not stay in place to edge from out of the box something is loose it rattles it is hard for me to return to store it is a 200-mile round trip to lowes just really disappointed in Craftsman tools bought 6/13/2024

I have lawn service and sprinklers gets missed and the grass suffers. I thought it would be a good idea to get a cordless weed eater. I always like Craftsman products and bought them for 35 + years. Vibrates the heck outta my hands

And the string slaps against the guard and makes a god awlful noise. I borrowed a friends battery powered Stihl weed eater since my late husbands gas powered Stilh was too heavy for me . And I thought maybe this Craftsman would be kinda like her Stihl battery weed eater---NOT EVEN IN SAME UNIVERSE.
