Great for the money.

I used this saw to cut 2x8 material for a customer for the first time with this saw. It was able to cut through it, but it was a little bit of a dog trying to do so. I set the bevel to 45 degrees, and it was struggling to make the cut. I did swap the blade out for a 24-tooth Diablo blade I already had before I started cutting. Great tool, performs without fail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a pro but I do all my own work at home. I had other Craftsman tools and found a need for a miter saw. I looked at a few brands and went with a name I trusted. This saw delivered and then some. Very easy to use, power to spare. It cut 2x4 and 2x6 wood with ease. Angles are accurate and the machine is very sturdy. I would imagine it would be a great asset on any pro job. It runs long on a battery. Boil it down to one word, excellent.

I am very displeased with the delivery. Delivery was delayed multiple times and ultimately the item was left next to the road for anyone to potentially take. Items are predominantly left at my front door however, I had to carry this to my door on my way home. The item was left next to the road which I find careless and inconsiderate.

Good Miter Saw for the money!

I've been using this Craftsman miter saw for about 6 weeks now, and I am very impressed with it. Delighted, in fact. Out of the box the saw was perfectly aligned, the blade square and true in all dimensions. The battery has sufficient power for an afternoon of cutting. Everyone's 'mileage' will vary of course. Powerful, light sliding miter saw

I've used this miter saw on several projects so far. Most notably in laying trim in my bathroom on my 2nd floor and cutting braces and slats for a king size farmhouse bed I was making. More Than Expected

I really wasn't certain what to think going into this purchase, based on a few negative reviews, but the wife had a project for me that demanded a miter saw, so I went with this one (not to mention the fact we both come from "Craftsman" families). I'm glad I did!!! I used this saw almost 6 hours a day NON-STOP over the weekend, and (albeit charging the 4 Ah battery overnight) this little saw NEVER exhibited battery decline during heavy use. A contractor's perspective

I bought this saw to cut 2x4s and trim on site. I have a big 12" DeWalt Compound Mitre saw and table but it is a pain to set up and take down for smaller jobs. Being a Bosch 18v cordless tool devotee, buying a Craftsman saw with only one battery was not ideal. This saw however surprised me.
