What Customers Are Saying
The power tools in this set are generally well-received, with the drill and impact driver praised for their power, durability, and ease of use. Customers appreciate the long-lasting battery life and convenience of cordless operation. However, some issues have been reported with the circular saw and sander, such as a poor blade design and cutting out during use. Additionally, a few customers experienced problems with the tools losing power or cutting out after initial use. Overall, the set appears to offer good quality and value, though there may be some inconsistencies in quality and durability across the different tools.

My personal experience with this impact has been great! So for starters.. I work construction 6-7 days each week. My jobs are anything from partial/full remodels to custom tile jobs, building shelves or cabinets to the electrical, privacy fences to concrete work. ANY and EVERY PHASE of the home building/remodeling/repair is where I use my tools day in and day out. So this impact was only meant to stay at home for small projects so I could stop using my far more expensive ones other than a...

Not as good my old craftsman evolv
In 2012 i got a craftsman evolv cordless drill. That thing was great for 9 years (light duty, household use), until the battery finally wore out. I couldn't get a replacement and had to to buy a whole new drill. I love trashing a tool so that craftsman can make more money. The CMCD700 is terrible in comparison. The only thing in its favor is that the battery is smaller and lighter, and recharges faster. In every other way it's inferior. There's a lot of unnecessary sharp angles molded into t...

Served me well
This was my first Craftsman power tool. To be honest, I bought into Craftsman because I love SBD's take on the Craftsman brand identity, and this drill is no exception. It looks rugged and modern, and the build quality matches the looks. It feels very solid in the hand. This drill served me well for a couple of years before I upgraded to a brushless version (the USA one - CMCD720D2). I admittedly didn't use it a ton, but it held up when I did need it. The sole reason I removed a star is becau...

Great drill
I bought this a month ago The Impact Drill has a metal front housing with the red plastic backing If you need to drive in long screws, nothing beats an Impact Driver. The Charger is wall mountable and has nice large charging lights on it. Now the drawbacks. The drawbacks are not large enough to be make or break, but are enough to warrant removing one star because they could have easily been engineered differently. The nice, grippy rubber that surrounds the tool to keep it in place when its put d...

Craftsman is no longer worth its name
While this is not the brushless, higher quality drill I would have expected better. This product began to fail with a few light duty uses. While this would be acceptable as Craftsman was quick to send me a replacement, it is the second Craftsman product I have bought in the last few years that has failed fast. Craftsman no longer makes high quality products and I will not be purchasing more in the future.

2min of action and it broke
Saw it on sale and seeing mostly positive reviews i decided to buy it. This morning I decided to put it to use, o would consider it light to medium use drilling through 2 stacked 1x3 boards. 1,2,3,4th hole I was like man this drill is nice, then on the 5th hole it seized up and didn't want to move in either direction. Pulled it out and on 2nd speed it's a no go, on 1st it turns but saying it's struggling is an understatement. In all honesty I don't even know if I want s replacement, since it...

Love Lost
My V20 Cordless Drill/Driver was my first purchase in the series. As a DIY person, it was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, today I was drilling a number of precision holes and I noticed that the the drill was not spinning "true". It has a slight wobble...perhaps 1/16" which is noticeable. I suspected the drill bit so, I tried 6 others and the slight wobble was consistent. This defect must be either in the seating of the chuck or, its more systemic to the motor. I will keep my drill be...

Awesome flexibility for different jobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiance purchased this for me as a gift. I was happy to say the least. This is definitely a new and improved version of the old drills. I have been able to use this for many jobs. It works great with woodworking, drywall, hard to see and reach spots. The batter life is great. That is one of the many key features. It is light weight and easy to hold in awkward positions. Being it only comes with one battery I was very impressed with ho...

Good Saw not Great
The saw has some flex and allows the blade to wander from the cut line indicator on the shoe. This flex also makes it hard to have a straight smooth cut specifically when holding the shoe against a straight edge. I wish Craftsman had a 6.5 in saw that had an aluminum shoe and a more stable connectection between the motor and the shoe to reduce this flex, even at a higher price point.

Works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and I have used it to cut many boards. I also built a 5-step porch stair with it and I cut probably 20 plus times and didn’t even need to change the battery. I haven’t used a cordless tool in years so this was a very welcome surprise! It cut smooth and it is easy to change the depth of the cut or the angle. It comes with the Alan wrench you need to change the blade with as well. Changing the blade was difficu...
