the V20 2.0 AH battery lasts about 10 minutes

The unit came with the V20 2.0 AH battery, i.e. the small one. The weed eater works well but the small battery lasts about 10 minutes on the high speed. Maybe a longer time if on the slower speed, but I doubt it do the job on the thougher weeds. I like this weed eater and plan on purchasing a larger capacity battery. With that I expect to do most of my yard on one charge. And I have the small battery for a 10-minute back-up.

Perfect for what I'm using it for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has decent run time. It provides steady power. And it's light. I haven't had the opportunity to try out any other batteries from craftsman though. I want to and if I do I'll update this review.

Battery Pack for Weed Wacker

The name Craftsman (associated with quality and reliability) was the main selling point. A friend told me to get the additional battery to be able to complete my project in one sitting. It is very easy to use for me a Baby Boomer in my late 60's. Not too heavy, and easy to maneuver, with maximum weed and grass removal. I only changed the battery once for each time I used it, to cover a wide area.

5 minute battery life

I received a Craftsman leaf blower for Mother's Day several years ago. It i s nice and lightweight and I love that it is cordless. Unfortunately, the battery life has been about 5 minutes since the day I got it. It is JUST enough for me to blow off the patio and deck but not enough to do anything else without charging it. Great for using in smaller homes

I love the vacuum, but as far as battery I charge it, but it doesn't hold the charge to complete My vacuuming, I had to buy a second one 2 keep on hand so i can complete my chore.

Great product and lightweight.

I mainly use the battery on lighter tools that don't require huge amounts of power and when I'm reaching above my head when a lighter tool is needed.

Product good, packaging awful

Took off one star for the packaging. The packaging on this should be adopted for anywhere needing extra security. It took heavy gloves, sharp knife, heavy scissors and 30 minutes to get these out of the hard plastic they were in.

Good small batteries

I own two of the craftsman tool that require these batteries. What I like about them is their size. They are small and do not add a lot of extra weight to the tools.

An improvement over my old batteries
