[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited about buying a snow cab for my new snowblower. I used it once and the vinyl cracked while outside snow blowing.

A Snow Blowing Game Changer

This cab makes snow blowing a better experience. I no longer have keep stopping to avoid taking a face full of snow in windy conditions. Assembly was tricky as the pictures just don't do much for how the canopy mounts over the poles. If you stare at it long enough you figure it out. The reason why I took a star away is for two reasons. Craftsman should include a few pointers in the instructions. First how to get the wrinkles out of the canopy windows. They are very annoying. Second.....

Useful, but average quality.

There currently isn't a better one out there that I've found yet. I feel the frame is a little clumsy, with the roof being created from tent poles. The canvas once stretched you can see all the stitching holes through the canvas, and the Velcro hoops that attach to the bars are tough to get tight. I believe they should of used snaps instead of the Velcro. Plus the front of the canvas should have hooks on the corners that attach to the bottom of the frame to keep it from riding up on the frame. Not a "ready out of the box" product

Good enough for the price point. It's a bit flimsy and takes more than what comes in the box to make it suitable to ND winter use. I installed some stabilizer bars from the frame of the snowblower to the back of the cab to keep it steady and the wind from flipping it over. The wrinkles in the vinyl truly suck and limit vision, especially in the dark. I still haven't been able to get them out to my satisfaction.

if you purchase during winter, may be difficult to get wrinkles out of vinyl. what worked best for me is a hair dryer, ironing board and dough roller. heat vinyl with hair dryer on high setting, constantly hovering the dryer above the vinyl to get the vinyl supple, then roll out with roller pin on ironing board. don't melt the vinyl. will get most of wrinkles out. i dislike the snow blowing in my face on a windy day.

The cab has made snow removal much easier. The job seems to go much faster without snow blowing back at me.

Having this top on is a vast improvement. Once installed try using a heat gun and a pair of gloves to gently smooth out the wrinkles in the plastic windows.

Works as advertised.

Simple to assemble, trick is to make sure its warmed up to keep the wrinkles out of the clear material. Velcro should be a bit longer and attached better. Bit tough hooking it to the frame.

It's a bit complicated to assemble but I was able to put it together in about an hour with just a little help from my wife. Using this makes blowing snow much more tolerable and I no longer look like the abominable snowman when I am done.
