Great little lightweight mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've bought, used, abused, and worn out three of these little mowers in the past five years while trying to maintain the lawns at three different properties we own. A couple of these yards are really tough to mow with rough terrain, lots of weeds, etc. so the mowers take a real beating. Just bought a replacement a couple of months ago. Now that my wife and I are almost 80 years old and not as strong as we used to be these mowers are just right...

Decent Lawn Mower but quirky set-up instructions

The Lawn Mower seems a bit light weight for the price point. The instructions on the box and in the User Manual are confusing for set-up of the lawn mower handle; we ended up looking on YouTube for how to set it up. Quite literally Craftsman could have had a QR code on the box for a link to a video showing how to do this and provided a real life image of the mower from all angles because it's easier to put together once you see how it looks. Very Pleased

I did a fair amount of shopping for this mower. It's hard to find a push mower with a no-bag side discharge that isn't entry-level with small wheels and a 125cc engine. Because there's more plastic, it's lighter than my 29-year old similar mower it replaces, but it's not at all flimsy. The engine is surprisingly smooth and started easily on the first try. As I said, it's a bit of a niche mower these days, but if it has the features you're looking for, I strongly recommend it.

Bought Online

I bought this mower online because Lowe's doesn't sell it in store. I go to pick it up and the box of the item is damaged, all taped up and I open it up and it's missing hardware. Buying items online is a risk just because you don't know how your package is going to turn up.

Yes don't order a mower from Lowe's

It arrived looking like a returned item open box deal all the pieces weren't there and the parts that were there were thrown around the box and on top of all of that it's hard to start it takes at least 3 hard pulls so now I'm worried it won't last long .

Missing and Broken parts out of box.

Opened box took out lawnmower immediately saw one of the handle knobs and bolts were missing. Took off the one handle knob, threads were completely messed up. Took bad bolt to lowes after spending 10 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone. Only option was to return entire lawnmower and wait for another to come in. Definitely my personal final straw for Craftsman!

Item received was returned and resold

Received the item and upon delivery the box was damaged and there was no packing in the box. The lawn mower had no type of foam around it and the loose parts where in the box with the zip lock bag opened. Parts to connect the handle to the mower were missing. I used old parts from by broken Craftsman mower to connect the handle on the new mower. Apparently this item had been returned and then resold to me.

If you prefer simple and reliable over something with all bells and whistles this mower is what you're looking for. A small, basic engine well-built to do the job.

Excellent quality for the money.

I love that the handle bars are high in the air. Easy to push and it mows very high grass.
