I bought this 10 months ago, the Kohler Vtwin engine is smooth and powerful, mulches well, the mulch cover can be a bit loose, I added 1 small sheet metal screw in the center with a small flat washer, drilled a very small pilot hole and the mulch cover now fits tight without letting grass thru the cover. The Zero turn is sensitive but you get used to the controls, is best for flat land, a regular tractor mower is best on rough terrain and hills, the mower does a good cut and the Vtwin is awesome...

I ordered a zero turn riding lawn mower Craftsman and it looks great but it comes without a key. they say they do not have them at Lowe's I have to call craftsman to get them to send me a key. if I would have known that the lawn mowers do not come with keys I would have never bought one so now Lowe's wants me to jump through hoops to try to get a key and I have no way to return the lawn mower back to the store

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have read a number of the "bad" reviews. Except for a few, they are all ridiculous. I have this mower since February 2026, not a long time, but enough time to put 17 hours use on it. I added the factory hour meter to it. The mower has performed extremely well. I selected it over a John Deere due to options and warranty time and conditions. I added the bagger, which I wished was not so expensive, but it works well. I recommend the Z5200 ...

It's a very nice mower
What I like... is the mower. Very powerful and plenty of heads turn when I'm mowing. What I didn't like... was the manual being left in a bag out in the rain attached to the mower. Being that this was my first z-turn mower, I wanted to read up on the basics before I started it up. I had to take extra time to look up the manual online instead. Not a huge deal this time, but it showed me the level of professionalism the company has on such big purchases.

Ran for an hour and a half
It literally ran for about an hour and a half. Turned it off to take a break and came back 20 min later and would not restart. I can hear the solenoid clicking but the starter won't engage and I tested with a multimeter and there is no power to the starter so it's a bad solenoid? I guess that's what $3000 gets you these days. Waiting on a replacement from Lowe's.
