A tape measure shouldn't make anyone this happy! 3 or 4 years ago my old tape measure wouldn't retract any more, so a few days later I went off to buy a new one. This 25' tape measure is built tough. It is heavy at 1lb. 3 oz. but it is built to last.The hook magnate will lift 5 pounds and the tape is reinforced for the 1st 3". Tape numbers are easy to read and the 16" stud markings are in red. It has a good solid belt clip in addition to slots for a corded lanyard. The one I purchased was part of a two pack. Simply awesome. Like the other review, the magnetic tip is no joke. I use it to pull open a Craftsman chest drawer full of heavy vintage files no sweat. I had to use a little muscle to break the connection between magnet and drawer. Broad tape measure, easy to read white background like the old Lufkin wooden folding measures, sturdy heavy duty and made in USA.

This tape measure is a well made unit. It is working well in my shop with no real issues. The tape is easy to read and very accurate. Would definitely buy again
Went in the store looking for a Stanley FatMax, there weren’t any in stock, since Stanley, Black & Decker also owns the Craftsman name now, I figured I’d give a try. After using it everyday for about a month I believe this is just a rebadged FatMax, and as an additional benefit it’s a few dollars cheaper than the Stanley. Great tape measure, cheaper than Milwaukee as well and Made in The USA instead of in the Orient.

Excellent and Easy to read !!!
Overall an Excellent Product. Big bold numbers against a white background makes it easy to read. You can pull out 10 feet of tape to measure before the tape begins to sag. Belt clip to keep your tape measure close at hand. Tape retracts easily when finished and it is MADE IN THE USA!!!!

Good tape measure and good price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like most about this tape measure is the big numbers on a white back ground that makes it easy to read. It is well constructed, I have dropped my tape measure several times from an eight foot ladder and has yet to break. The only thing I wish it had was numbers on the bottom so I can measure on ceilings. Other than that It is well worth buying.

Better than I expected
I was a bit skeptical of Craftsman after they were bought by Stanley Black and Decker. However, after going through tape measures like tissues and got one because my foreman liked his. I was impressed right away. The tape is wide, easy to read and sturdy. It breaks at eleven and a half feet, which is several feet better than my last one. The magnet is helpful to. Hopefully it will be the last tape I have to buy for a while.
