Tackles very large weeds and small bushes

We have a lot of very large weeds in our ditch and this does the job.

Totally Useless

This is not a dig against Lowe's, it is against the product and MTD, the manufacturer. I bought this in 10/22 through Lowe's; I got this for the Craftsman WS2200 trimmer I also purchased via Lowe's. Even though I bought it last year, this week was the first time I actually used it. I have a drainage swale that is overrun with large and tall weeds—perfect opportunity to use this attachment. Not worth it

connected this to my craftsman weed eater and within 20 minutes the detention button had bent the shaft to it's left and right. Invest or rent a bush hog. That's what they're built for. Don't waste your money on all these attachments. Not all are created equal. As far as other attachments, I've had no issues and they've worked great.

Flimsy Tube Design

Tube is flimsy and the anti-rotation system is not robust enough to withstand the rotational forces when the blade encounters an obstruction. Only after 3 uses, 20 min in duration, the shaft area around the push button deformed such that the head of the attachment now rotates 2 degrees out of position once the blade begins to rotate no matter how tight the locking collar is tightened. Just do not know how much longer the system will function in this state.

Brush trimmer works!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Awesome tool worked better than expected. Sharpening not allowed and not needed. Had 15’+ overground blackberry bushes, with stalks 2” thick, hedge trimmer wouldn’t fit around em, this tool ripped through them once I was able to get to the stocks. I hit rocks and stone and it kept ripping. Worked best with a forward to back where I was pushing through the stalks.

Brush cutter Attachment

Works on heavy over grown grass and up to 1/4inch thick branches easily. More than that will be more difficult. Start at top and work the cutter down so that long strands or vines will be sliced up and not bind up around blade or hit the area with the string trimmer first. Fast change outs between all attachments.

Troy-bilt BC720

I have the Troy-bilt TB22EC (that's the low-end string trimmer) and was trying to cut brush, i.e. weeds, briers, thorns, blackberry bushes, small sumac trees (under an inch), poison ivy, etc. that were about 4 feet to over 10 feet tall - It did not work well at all (more down time than cutting time). This does not fit a Husqvarna

The guy in the store told me craftsman attachment fits on Husqvarna. I searched the website for Husqvarna attachments. It brought this one up so I bought it. It does not fit.
