CRAFTSMAN Mower, Edger and Blower Combo

To many problems.

I bought this lawn mower two years ago. I took it out of the box when I was in the store and there was oil Inside the Box and I asked where that came from and they said it was Grease from the packaging for when they ship it. I said okay and I went ahead and bought it anyway. Then I started getting big puddles of oil on the floor of my shed. This year I decided to pull it out and mow my grass and now I have to rebuild the entire engine. I changed the spark plug, oil, gas and then I did a compress...

Don’t waste your money

I have always really been happy with Craftsman. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with this purchase. I bought this mower last year. It worked great. This year I changed the air filter, new spark plug set to proper gap and fresh gas. Won’t start after almost an hour of trying. I have never had this issue with a mower this new. I have made some bad purchases in the past, but this may be the my all time worst purchase.

DO NOT BUY

Terrible mower!! Do not waste your money on this. It worked for one season and when we brought it back out this season the engine wont stay on. We replaced the fuel and oil and even when through three bottles of starting fluid to get it going. It only works for a minute before the engine dies again. Big disappointment.

Poor quality engine

I purchased this mower in the spring of 2021. After only using it for a few months when I went to start it up it made a terrible noise as if something had broken inside the engine and a few moments later there was a smoking hole in the side of the engine compartment where something had blown out! I took the mower back exchanged for another. This one worked well for the rest of the mowing year in 2021 but now is having issues starting up. Self propelled mower

I bought this product last september 2022 and the three times I used it, it was great. The problem is now its spring in 2023 and this mower refuses to start. For the amount of money you pay for this I would expect the quality of the mower to be better in terms of only being able to use it 3 times before it chooses to not work. Disappointed customer

Bought this lawn mower model 12A A26B793 March 2024. Not been one time it has not needed starting fluid to start. As of today won’t start at all. It is being placed in the trash for pick up tomorrow.

Poor Performance, no easy fixes

Mower really struggles if grass is high, even at highest cut setting. Self-propelled saps power from blade so grass must be even shorter. Air filter cap kept coming off and is now lost, part number unavailable it seems online. Mower has burned through a lot of oil for a new mower. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I expected better from Craftsmen but I guess quality has dropped.

Poor quality mower

Poor quality mower. When running fine. Will not start as explained in instructions. I am a small engine repairman, and can say with certainty this mower needs review for product quality. M220 is Junk

This will be my last craftsman mower . I have had 2 times where this mower has left me stuck without a way to finish mowing my small yard . I have replaced the gas and the spark plug . Mowers should not be dying before a 5000 square foot lot can be mowed . Unable to restart . After reading other reviews , it’s a problem with this mower . The last craftsman mower I bought ran great and only was replaced because the mower deck rusted through completely .

Absolute trash

I used the lawn mower weekly last summer after I bought it. Stored for the winter as the grass didn't need much work. Pulled it out in the spring and it wouldn't start. I changed the plug, then the carb and fuel line. It ran fine for two weeks. I've had nothing but trouble with it since then. Don't buy this lawn mower.
