Terrible lawnmower

This is the worst lawnmower I’ve ever used. Even if we ignore the fact that it has no self propel when using it, if you use the bag it only makes it about half full at max before the trimmings fall back into the machine and if you try to use the side blower you’ll spend all of ur time unclogging it. It is a poorly designed machine and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Crap mower

Spend the money on a better mower. You get what you pay for. Only cut a regular sized yard twice. Third time cutting the motor blew. Oil was good and still new. Never ran it out of gas. Purchased in July of 2026

Good mower!

Started right up on the first pull! It's not mentioned, but there is a side discharge chute attachment included in the box, for those of us who do not bag. Also, there is a bottle of oil included in the box.

Failed after 3 mows due to fuel supply issue

Used this mower 3 times in the first month I bought it, after sitting in my garage for a week the engine kept failing on the 4th mow despite having a full tank of gas. Based on research it’s a carburetor issue that requires constant disassembly and cleaning and that’s grossly inconvenient when you just want to get your yard mowed quickly. I called Lowe’s and returned it for a store credit. Extremely disappointed in Craftsman.

What an odyssey this has been. When I got the box home I discovered it was missing the clippings bag. I called the store and asked, in dulcet tones, if they could order the part and send it to me. Cuts fine, hard to start after sitting

When this mower runs, it does a good job. The 140cc Briggs and Stratton engine has enough power to cut thick grass, and the deck feels well built. But getting it to start has been a real headache, and that is why I can only give it two stars. The label says “No Prime, No Choke.” That sounds easy, but it is a little misleading. I bought this mower for a second home where we have a lawn service. From time to time I need to be able to do a little trimming between service. I bought this on 4/10/26. It was put into service in late April. On June 29th, while using the mower for the 7 or 8th time it started billowing white smoke. I stopped and checked the fluids and all was good. Not recommending to purchase

I purchased this product from Lowe’s display section, and its functionality was not demonstrated at the time of purchase. After bringing it home, I added gas and oil, but the unit never started even once, and I noticed gas leaking from it. I returned to Lowe’s within two days, but the representative refused to inspect the product and simply asked me to contact the manufacturer, stating that it could not be returned after 24 hours.
