What Customers Are Saying
The mower has a compact 36-inch deck that allows for good maneuverability in tight spaces. The 17.5-HP engine provides sufficient power to handle most residential lawns. Users report the mower is easy to operate and has a tight turning radius, allowing for efficient grass cutting. However, some issues with uneven cutting, vibration, and difficulty mowing in reverse have been noted. Overall, the mower offers good value for smaller properties.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. My first riding mower @73 yrs old.
I had self propelled mowers all my life until I recently encountered a fire ant hill and got over 100 bites which almost did me in. I opted for this R110 rider made by MTD and couldn't be happier. I love the ability to go in reverse without disengaging the blade like my neighbors mower. It has plenty of safety features and one to look out for is the switch that disables the mower if the discharge chute cover gets loose. I put lock tight on those bolts and doubt I will ever encounter what others ...
Awesome
I’m 68 with about a 3/4 acre lawn. I’ve been doing it with a convention lawnmower and can still do it but my wife said enough. I can tell you the hardest thing about cutting the lawn now is blowing the cut grass off the deck. It’s easily the best thing I’ve acquired in them last 15 years and I can cut the grass down to the hight of a golf course green without any strain me or the mower. Wet or dry grass it doesn’t matter. The only reason I even break a sweat is the temperature. :-)

Good lawnmower
I read the reviews before I bought this and I saw some reviews say that the battery dies pretty quick but I decided to give it a try. I’ve only used this lawnmower four times a total of about 2 1/2 hours and I go out there today and the lawnmower won’t crank cause the battery’s dead. I take the battery back and turn in the core and get a new one (magna power battery) get home and that one has less than 25% power on a brand new battery. I ended up going to advance auto parts and buying a die har...
Sold "As Is" Craftsmen should not mean a "lemon"
I purchased the mower from a Lowe's Outlet on a Wednesday. I was told the sale was "as is" since the unit had been returned. I understood there was a chance repair of some sort would be needed. I was encouraged to get an extended warranty, and I agreed, under the circumstances. I got the machine home on Saturday of that same week, to find that it would not start. I called the Lowe's extended warranty department (as the salesman had directed me to do should the mower not work once I got i...
I bought the Craftsman T100 in an attempt to downsize from my previous Husky with the 42" deck. Not going to say much about the power comparison between the two, due to the large difference in engine sizes. The first and really the only complaint I have with the Craftsman is that after mowing approximately half of my yard, the first time, I noticed in the lower speeds, (gears 2-5) it started becoming very sluggish, then to the point of completely stopping. I could get it to go on by raising the...

It's a dud!
I purchased a CRAFTSMAN T100 36-in 11.5-HP Single Cylinder Gas Lawn Tractor from Lowe's and had it delivered to my home, and the experience has been extremely frustrating from the start. When the mower arrived, it wouldn’t even start. After some troubleshooting, we discovered the battery was completely dead. Thankfully, Lowe’s stepped in and helped replace the battery, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. After only about 10 hours of use—and less than a month of...

Don't Buy
We are extremely disappointed with our experience purchasing a new 30-inch riding mower from Lowe’s. Before we even bought it, we were told the two mowers they had in stock were defective. A replacement was shipped in from another store, and we were assured it had been tested and was working properly. We got it home, started it for the first time, and as soon as we put it in forward or reverse, it bogged down, stalled, and even backfired. The mower has never worked. To make matters worse, Low...

Comfort is not as good as my old mower (craftsman circa 2006). I was disappointed that the delivery did not include my paper work (with manuals) on the new mower. I had to go to the store to pick up the package with the manuals, only to find out after getting home no parts manual is included. After several attempts on line I went back to the store and with the help of Junior, (the associate in Lawn & Garden), was able to get the parts manual e-mailed to me for print off. Very appreciative for Ju...

PLEASE READ
I don't know where to begin. I purchased this mower 1 year ago. I live in the Northeast so 1 year means roughly 20 mows. I did not purchase Lowes Protection. Why? Because I purchased a product that Lowes put their name behind and it's insane to me that I should be required to pay more money to make sure it isn't faulty. Lowes, we trust that you are vetting these companies/products for us. That's what your name/brand is for. This mower didn't last a full season. I've had all sort of problems wit...

Biggest, most disappointing purchase of my life.
This thing has been nothing but trouble. The 3rd time I used this, the blade snapped. 2 months later, the bracket that supports the pulley that turns the blade snapped off. Trying to get the store to accept a return was pointless. Trying to get the warranty company to fix it has been extremely aggravating. BOTTOM LINE: don't waste your money or time with this machine.
