Purchased the 63" work station after looking at the different craftsman 3000 series boxes for a long time. Well made box, excellent fit and finish. Was happy to see the drawer liners were included as if you've ever owned a box and cut your own, it can be a pain in the butt. I drooled over this when it first appeared at my local Lowes more than a year ago but I could not justify $1k for it. Fantastic Tool Chest!!

This chest is definitely heavy duty. It weighs well over 300 lbs. The drawers slide in & out with ease. There is plenty of room for my tools. I really like the large top drawer that goes the length of the chest. The deep drawers are great for my power tools and I enjoy having the power strip on the side. The wheels roll with ease and I am glad it has 6 wheels for stability. The solid wood top makes a great work surface.

Light Duty

There is a reason these are only $1k. They are not a Snap-on or Kennedy. I have had one for about 4 months. The drawers don't handle the rated weight. One of my drawers was maybe half loaded up and the slides broke. Now I am trying to find slides. Turns out that the slides are some cheap imports. This tool box looks great, and would be okay for the average homeowner. For a farm shop or workplace you should look elsewhere.

Seems like a good value

I would not call it heavy duty but more of a medium duty item. Paint is very nice, wheels work great, drawer sliders are good. The drawers themselves I would have built heavier , I am pretty sure these are plenty good for most usage. The top is little warped, was installed (bought floor model) slightly off square. Very nice modern tool box for my garage.

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't so difficult to get and they offered better discounts. It took about 3-4 months to come into the Lowes store after I tagged it for updates on availability. After reading about similar delays to get any of the 3000 series cabinets I am confused. This had nothing to do with COVID and after all it is just a tool cabinet. Left me with a bad feeling for the Craftsmen product line when I am looking to purchase more.

Heavy duty + Have it delivered.

This is a top notch product. Build heavy to last, like my last Craftsman rolling tool chest I have had for two decades. This new one has a fine wood work top, electrical outlets and drawers galore. All on wheels that roll smoothly from driveway into garage right where I needed it. Have it delivered it is heavy and getting it out of the pickup took some processing.

Decent Toolbox

Good Toolbox. Drawers seem sturdy and smooth. The finish on the top of the workbench is damaged which I’m not really happy about but didn’t want to load up a 340lb toolbox by myself and drag it all the way back to exchange it. Too much of a hassle.

I should have visited Lowe’s show floor before placing the order after seeing the 15% discount. After I took the delivery, I am surprised by the thin and flimsy tin can quality construction drawers with sharp edges on the side walls and back walls. I am sure they are not 18 guage as advertized. Craftman manufacturer should use thicker drawer material and with folded edges to smooth out the sharp edges.
