Close but, not quite Craftsman…
I really needed a larger set of tools like this box set. However, the set comes with nearly all 12 point sockets, which I did not realize until it was here. The 12 point sockets should NOT be used with 6 sided bolts, which is the most common type of bolts world wide. The 12 point sockets can not grip the 6 sides bolts well and will strip the bolt head fairly easy with little force. My 1985 Chevy C30 dually truck has 1 single 12 point bolt on the entire truck. That’s it! So I’m glad I had that on...

Very good value
This is a very comprehensive set that makes it a tremendous value. I was looking for a tool set for my garage to go in a tool chest. Not only is there a full set of 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” sockets with rarchets, there are also hex allen, torx, and screwdriver sockets. The tools feel good in the hand and seem to be on par with other midline tools made in Taiwan. I was also pleasantly surprised to read that the Craftsman warranty is back! I haven’t tested the warranty yet, but it’s much better than ...
Good Starter Set
This is a good starter set and preferred over other sets I found because they aren't loaded with 100 security bits. Do expect to upgrade a few of the pieces in short order. The ratchets and wrenches don't feel like they will handle much use. They feel "loose". The trays are 2 inches tall and all of them won't fit in standard 2 piece tool boxes which usually only have 3 tall drawers. Seems to me like at least one of the trays with sockets could have been half as tall. Others have complain...
Built Tuff With Pride Throughout Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Craftsman hand tools are some of the most well-made and long-lasting tools available today. They are comfortable to use in the hand, and they are very versatile, being usable for a wide variety of projects. The warranty that comes with them is also amazing. If a tool bends or breaks through normal use, they will replace it free of charge, no matter how long you have owned it. You don't need a receipt or proof of purchase, simply the tool itsel...

Good basic set of tools
Bought this set after looking at several, deciding factor was the ratcheting wrenches. I will say it is lacking in larger 1/2" socket sizes and are all 12 point which I'm not a fan of. Also wish it came with more extensions, the few they offer in this set are probably the least used. For the basic repairs, oil changes and basic maintenance I'm going to be using this for I think I'm covered. Taking a trip back to Lowes today to fill in some of the larger size sockets. The kit also comes with tr...
Fantastic Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this set over 4 years ago and not a week goes by that either I don't use it or a neighbor wants to borrow a few tools. I do most of my own work on my Harley plus help out my friends by working on theirs. Anyone who wishes to save money by doing their own work should have this set. I also purchased the 3 set tool chest on wheels to keep my tools in. Best investment yet. Plus I have been adding tools as I or my friends find we need them...

Nice set of tools. Trays meh
Tools are what I wanted and needed. I also purchased a Craftsman 5 drawer 26” wide tool chest at the same time. The plastic trays fit in the drawers but are to high and pull out the drawer above it or won’t even clear to be able to push the drawer in( wrench tray). They are both Craftsman products and yet they don’t work with each other. I wish that was stated somewhere. Very upset with Craftsmen.
Great tool sets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first set about 42 years ago and also bought additional sets since then and these tools have never failed me when I was a dealership mechanic and I used some when I was doing plumbing work.never broke any wrenches maybe a screwdriver or two but never had a problem replacing them.alot less money than the high dollar tools(snap on,mac, matco) and just as good if not better.

Craftsman socket wrenches
The 3/8 drive Socket Wrench failed 3 weeks after purchase. It wouldn't spin in either direction. I figured it was just a fluke. But, then the 1/2 drive Socket Wrench failed in the exact same way. I couldn't exchange them at Lowes.... because, so many people have been returning them, they ran out. Craftsman is NOT our Father's Craftsman, anymore.
