Damaged when Box Opened

This was bought as gift for my son. He picked it up and and discovered it was damaged when he opened box at home. The reviews indicates that other people have had this issue. Now he has to take it back for exchange.

had bought the box supposedly new in box. both top and bottom boxes. bottom had been extremely dented and had to go all the way back again from work to pick up another one. which they just gave me the floor model that had already been slightly damaged, but It did not bother me. set everything up and just opening one drawer and it was going back and fourth on a level floor. poor quality that the bottom two drawers were already coming off the adhesive. will not be buying craftsman again.

My husbands ideal Dream toolbox

Great upgrade after 18 years!

I got this, and the base, as an upgrade over the non-ball bearing 26" Craftsman that I got 18 years ago. I had finally outgrown the old one to the point that I have the new one full now. The drawer slides with the soft close feature is really nice. No more fighting to get drawers open or closed. I like how many short height drawers this has, and the extra depth of the unit helps to fit all of my tools better. I don't care about the wheels once loaded, as I'm a homeowner not a mechanic. Solid Construction

Solid construction. Great for my garage and will undoubtedly last for many years. Compared with my father's pro-quality toolboxes, the construction is slightly lighter, but has the same basic features such as smooth drawer action and anti-slip tool mats. No complaints.

Craftsman did it again

Great price for the size.

This box is great by matching well with a rolling Craftsman chest I have had for a few years. Only change I would like to see is the drawer fronts being a little bigger - they have a decent size gap on the top of the front that lets a lot of dust in since my fab shop creates a lot of metal dust.

Quality isn't there

I both the full tool chest set yesterday 6/29, thankfully a friend lent me a truck to pick it up. Got it home, installed the wheels and handle on the bottom chest. Set this upper chest on and started loading my tools. Looks great in the garage and has plenty of room for all kinds of things. But - quality is out the window with Craftsman now. Very disappointed in the overall set. The mounting spots for the wheels are very thin steel and very week. The entire box rocks back and forth when opening ...
