Craftsman Tool Chest

Happy with a tool chest but first it arrived damaged. Lowe’s did discount it 35% for me so I gave them five stars.

Nice for the money but needs more packing material

It is a nice tool chest w/ work surface for the money. I looked at several different stores and brands of stores before choosing this unit. All had damaged legs or sides caved in from lack of packing. I don't know if rough handling plays a part but they only use packing on the corners. Every other surface is subject to improper handling, like laying it over in the middle of the package causing dents instead of laying it only on the top, then picking up and sliding in a vehicle. Very nice addition to the garage organization

I love this product from a functional persepective. From the soft close drawers, to the attractive wood top, I am very satisfied with it. My only compaint is the condition of the unit on delivery. It was not bad enough to refuse delivery, but it is something to keep in mind as other people may not find it acceptable. First, there were minor scuffs on the metal. First off, I want to say that the product itself is perfect and would receive a 5 star rating. I am giving this 3 stars due to the way the purchase was made and my experience. Delivered damaged

Looks great, but it was delivered damaged…very disappointed since i cannot return easily it due to its size.

Very difficult experience with Customer "Service"

This item was delivered to my house with the wheels installed as I had requested and ordered (I have a written copy of the chat session in which the rep agreed that the workbench would be fully assembled with wheels attached). Unfortunately one drawer would not open/close without a lot of effort expended to do so. So, I had to request Lowe's to pick up the damaged item and replace it with a new one. After 2 hours on a chat session and then a separate phone call, the representative (a supervisor)...

Just a nice looking very functional tool box that's made in the USA! Drawers function well and the top is not only good looking but easy to clean. Should last a long time.

Great cabinet, horrible installation experience.

Would have been 5 stars if not for my horrible experience with installation. After getting cabinet out of the box, the first step was unlocking the unit to get the accessories (handle, casters, drawer lining) out of the bottom drawer for what would have taken less than 20 minutes to assemble. However, all drawers were stuck in "locked" no matter what I did with the key and wouldn't open. After re-boxing the cabinet for a return/exchange at the store (mind you, the cabinet is heavy and awkward...
