Good Cabinet for DIY Homeowner

Picked this cabinet up on sale a couple weeks ago. Overall, I am very happy with it especially at the price I got it at. Since I don't have a ton of room in my garage I liked the fact that it was only 18 inches deep, so it takes up less floor space. I also liked the draw depths (1- ~4 inches 3- ~6 inches). Sometimes a Great Deal Costs a Great Deal.

Found this one online, read the description carefully as the price was suspiciously low. (95 and change). No weird disclaimers about damage, just assumed it was a discontinued model and they were trying to get it sold. So I had it shipped and delivered to the local Lowes in my area. It was delivered in a timely fashion and the staff were very helpful getting it out to my vehicle. Amazing lil rolling lockable cabinet

This sucker is nice because they fit perfectly in the trunk of my SUV. If I have a job where I need all my tools, I can just wheel it, load it and go. It's a Craftsman so if the keys are lost, you can contact the company which Craftsman uses for replacement keys and have them in under a week. Durable and def a worthy investment. Still needs stronger caster wheel handle hardware

Paint: Excellent Drawer quality: Excellent Overall cabinet stiffness and strength: Excellent Push-Pull Handle and Caster Wheel attaching hardware and threading method: Total crap. That handle isn't going to take a lot of tugging before the poorly fitting screws pull out. Same with the Caster Wheel screws. One sudden stop or tailgate unload goes South and you'll wish you had went to the nut & bolt cabinet for some better fasteners. The OEM fasteners all seem to tighten up in the holes only on ...

Withstands the test of time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this set over 40 years ago. It has plenty of storage space. It holds 1/2 inch socket sets, 3/8 inch socket sets, drill bits, taps, screwdrivers, combination wrenches, pliers, and what ever else you want to store. Even after all this time and abuse given by myself and two boys , it is still holding up! I would recommend this product if you are looking for a lot of storage, that will last a long time! Craftsman is the way to go!

Fantastic for price

I have a three unit set from 20 years ago and the lower drawers were shot so I had been looking at the 5 and 6 drawers versions for a while trying to justify the price. Then the 4 drawer showed up for $99.00? I’d like the 6 drawer but for almost 1/3rd the price this was a no brainer. The soft close drawers are a nice upgrade over the old version I am replacing. The product is a 4 but the value made it a 5+!

It's ok for weekend mechanic

When assembling one (out of 16 ) wheel screw got stripped and one (out of 4) screw holding handle stripped as well but still holding ok so far Overall not bad, sometimes top drawer will not close till you point it in exact straight way by hand Could be another 3-4" taller but i won't pay another $130 for extra drawer Used competition store wood top which fits perfectly - since Lowes don't offer anything like that

Bought to organize tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a year or more ago. It works well for me. I am not am not too rough with it but suspect that it would withstand heavier use than I give it. The exterior has stood up well in my damp basement even though it has been very dusty at times as I put in drains and a sump pump to make some of the dampness go away.

Nice box

Took me getting 2 to get one undamaged, or so I thought. The first one had a dent in the lid, which I thought was odd as the box wasn't damaged. I returned that one and got a different one, looked good. Loaded all my tools in it and I see the paint is broke and peeling at one of the vertical/horizontal joints. At this point I'm not taking it back to the store again, I'll just deal with it. I had high hopes for this box but was left a little short.

Nice tool chest. Price was excellent.

Tool chest is nice. Price was excellent. However, I took off one star because all 4 wheels do not swivel. Back two wheels only go on one way and that allows the chest to move side to side but not back and forth. I wanted to move them in and out from under a workbench and there is no way to do this.
