I have two of these. They work fine for pine trim but I had some 3/4" oak that the brads bent, or would only go in about three fourths of the way. Both of my units jam frequently. Not sure what the problem is, but I borrowed a friend's brad nailer (from a discount tool store) and finished the job without any problems. Is it me?
Great tool so far
I've had it a couple weeks and for trim work it does great so far. I tried hanging some 9/16" thick oak and it wouldn't sink the nails. About 1/8"-1/4"was sticking up using 2" brad nails. Now that's not saying this tool is junk, I pre drilled and drove finish nails in and it was tough. For soft woods or even thinner hard woods, this thing fits my needs perfectly.

Powerful, Reliable, and Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve put a lot of nailers through the wringer over the years, and the Metabo HPT NT50AE2 stands out as one of the most dependable 3-1/2″ nailers I’ve used. Right out of the box it feels solid and well-balanced, and once you start driving nails you realize it’s not just good on paper. Performance is where this tool shines. It fires consistently, with enough oomph to sink framing nails cleanly into lumber without hesitation. I’ve used it on 2x...

Wouldn't drive Metabo brads...
Maybe I got a dud, but...I bought this and tried it for the first time today. I couldn't get it to drive 18 gauge Metabo brads. I happened to have 18 gauge Porter Cable brads on hand (different length) and it drove them just fine. I figured...why mess around? Return.

Dangerous
It has been a problem since day one I let it sit on the shelf too long before I put it in the truck, otherwise I would have returned it. 1st problem In the magazine it splits the nail strip , doubles them up then jams. 2nd problem The face of the nail magazine blew out. I see others post this problem. I suspect the poorly held nails allowed a nail to be sent through the side. Why is this is still be sold ? It really makes me question Lowes and it's entire product line
Pretty good Brad nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a pretty good Brad nail, has a bright led light on the front so you can use as a work light while you work in the darker areas (ex. underneath/inside counters or corners). You can definitely trim up a whole room with the 2.0 Amp hour battery and still have plenty of charge when the jobs done. The tip got a rubber piece so you don’t scuff up the material you’re working with if it’s any finish work, great comfortable hand and has a nice bala...

Metabo 18-Brad nailer performs all day
You can’t go wrong with this Brad nailer. I’m a fanboy of metabo products anyways. The nailer is very easy to use thanks to its light weight, dial in depth adjustment and the push in actuation switch for rapid fire of the nails. The rubber no-mar tip minimizes dents in my projects. I didn’t get one jam during my entire day of use.

Best 18 GA brad nailer on the market
I love this thing. It does everything it's supposed to do. every time. I haven't had a single issue with jams, not sinking nails all the way, or misfires. It's very well balanced and comfortable to use. The sight line makes it easy to see where the nail will shoot, making it accurate and less prone to user error. Metabo HPT has always had a reputation for making excellent pneumatic nailers, and that has continued into their battery options as well.

Great nailer
This has been great for my home projects all around. It’s lightweight and has great power with no kick. It helped put up shiplap on walls, trim, baseboards, and helped create our accent wall. Would recommend this to anyone needing household work done.

Never lets me down
I was a devoted dewalt tool user. That all changed when I bought a brand-new Dewalt 18 ga nailer and it miss fired out of the box, so I tried a Metabo based of the reviews I read. jump ahead 2 years later and I am in the process of switching all my tools to Metabo. The quality is better than dewalt and priced much better.
