I bought this just as an add-on to another order. I figured I "needed" a new light and this fits a battery system I already have. I had no idea I was buying the best light I have ever used. The magnet is extremely strong, combined with the clicking adjustable angle hinge makes this light extremely universal. Put it on metal HVAC ducts, the underside of a car hood. Favorite light, even for a light "collector".
I've owned 2 of these and absolutely loved them. I bought the first one about a month after they hit the market and somehow it "walked away" after about 2 years or so. I've had the second one for about 3 years now. Both have had EXCELLENT service with very rough treatment in the HVAC\plumbing industry, all sorts of auto work, construction, headlight for lawn mowing (like having off-road HID "rally" lighting for your mower LOL) camping etc. It's been left up\running in the rain for over 2 hours....

I use this light for everything
I just bought this on a whim because I have other Bosch 12V measurement instruments. I had no idea I would be using this light for EVERYTHING. power goes out? it's on hand. auto work? the magnet works great, the hook works if the magnet doesn't get it just right. the stiffness of the hinge is perfect, HVAC work it clings right to the duct. otherwise, hang it on a nail. it's super bright, has two settings. Honestly I might buy another for extra lighting.

Can’t beat it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I restore old cars and as a result I’ve bought several kinds of work lights. While they all have certain values, this one truly can’t be beat. It’s very bright, can be put in a broad variety of positions, has a really strong magnet, a trick clip, and a folding platform that makes it my first pick in almost every situation. I really love it!

Awesome little light.
I was using the Caterpillar usb rechargeable lights prior to buying this for my work. I do bathroom remodeling so I need a good flexible light when I’m working thru access panels on plumbing. The caterbiller lights were always nice but the magnets weren’t very strong. This Bosch light tho the magnets are very powerful. Great extension of Bosch's 12V lineup of tools
I have standardized on Bosch cordless tools with the experience that good quality tools far outlast the cordless batteries and to maximize the life of the tools, I just continue purchasing the same brand with the same batteries so that I can use those batteries in my current lineup of tools. Best small work light ever
We have a few of these at work and we love them. I like them so much I bought one for myself. Great for working on the car, camping, unloading containers.. you name it, it is great for it. I do have to applaud the magnet in case anyone had doubts about its ability to hang on. I recently drove for 4 hours with it on the back of a box truck, accidentally, through the sleet and bumpy country roads and it didn't even budge! Thankfully it didn't, or I'd be out of a light! Super Bright!
This 12v light was surprisingly bright. LED's come in all kinds of brightness's and with 10 LED's in this unit it was able to brighten up my kitchen with the lights already on. Typically you have to be in a semi dark room to notice a light like this one on but not so with the Bosch 12v Worklight. It's much brighter than my DeWalt 12v LED light (which has 9 less LED's in it). Power button turns the light on or off and includes a dim feature which dims all 10 LED lights to about 80% brightness. Fantastic Little Light
As a contractor, I really wanted a small LED work light for my main bag that would stick to electrical panels, ductwork and such. The brand of cordless that I carry in the truck just didn't offering anything that would stick near as well as this light, so I bought 2 of them and a Bosch battery / charger starter kit. SO happy I did - love them! Extremely durable. Lots of mounting options. Just been a great little light for me for at least a couple of years now. Highly recommended!
