I bought this set after using another brand that wouldn’t drill the holes I needed. The 1/4” hole I drilled first took a long time in the porcelain tile I was trying to set some shower doors in. Remember to go slow or the bit burns up. We switched up to the 1/8” bit and it drilled much faster. We added water from a squirt bottle to help w/ heat buildup. Surprisingly good for drilling holes in porcelain
I was very pleasantly surprised at how well these drilled into the porcelain tiles. I drilled maybe 24 holes to mount three grab bars for my parent's house. Originally I was going to buy a diamond hole bit, but the reviewers indicated these were better -- and I must agree. While I did not need a new bit, I was happy that this particular set had two each of the smallest size that I used. Drill slowly and push hard use water
These drill bits are a life saver for not having to hammer drill for tile they are less likely to crack or break. The bits usually get about six to eight holes before dulling if u dip the bit in water every few seconds to keep them cool they last longer. I was drilling ceramic tiles to install commercial bathroom hardware.
Perfect tile bits
Am I a professional… no. Was I raised with the figure it out attitude…yes. I first tried another $20 diamond edge bit to put a hole in my tile shower to hold an anchor. After what seemed like forever making no progress I went back to the store and bought these. In less than the time it took me to purchase, I had made 4 holes with no chips or cracking of my tile. Definitely important to have the right tool for the job and this was it.

I have been looking for quality tile bits that work with porcelain. These are the quality bits I have been looking for. Decently priced and do a great job for my needs. Run on low rpms and a squirt of water and these bits work flawlessly.

Worst Ceramic Drill bits ever
Simply - DO NOT BUY! - Find another brand. Using the 3/16 bit in no time the first one was no longer sharp enough to drill the hole in the 6mm shower tile. The second one, on its second hole the tip broke. As a result I am on my way to a nearer retailer, so Lowes you lost a sale. Drills Through Ceramic Tiles Like Butter!
I recently had tiles installed throughout my bathroom, and I needed to drill holes for various fixtures. After reading a decent amount about drilling through tiles, I purchased this set of Bosch drill bits. They were easy to use, and made quick work of the holes I needed to drill - they were great!
