I haven’t been able to plant anything in these, yet, which is why I only gave them 4 stars. I can say that the material seems stronger tan the green ones that one usually finds in garden centers and in my experience become brittle and degraded by the sun and weather. The walls on these are much thicker and appear stronger. I would recommend these to a friend.

They have changed

I bought these for years from Lowe’s. The quality has changed and the dimension of the rail it fits has also changed. I bought them and had to take them back because they don’t work on my deck anymore.

Damaged

With no obvious damage to the carton two of 5 had broken lower corners. Although they appeared to be the same as the last 5 we had purchased in the store for dimension and price they were of lesser quality. Thinner gage plastic and flat top edges instead of rolled making them structurally weaker

Looks better than pictured!

The planters fit nice and snug on my deck rails. They look beautiful with plants in them! I want to order more! The only downside was the “ship to store” was very slow...almost 2 weeks. Lowe’s had the best price, so I didn’t mind the wait.

These are very light and will need weight added.

I like the design, the fit on the deck rail, and that they are light weight.
