Blink's customer service SUCKS!

It took almost 40 emails and close to one year to get Blink to replace one if these outdoor cameras that went bad just 3 months after getting it. I gave them very detailed information about the camera and their system everytime I sent an email but they still told me to continue trying the same things over and over again with different techs. Does It's Job and Excellent For The Price Point.

The camera and sync module were easy to set up. I purchased after market mounts as the ones that come with limit the angles in which you can adjust. For me it was all in the planning. There was initially a bit of lag, but my house is fairly large, so I got a wi-fi extender and that all but eliminated the lag. There are many things people need to be aware of first when getting this. There is no playback options. The cameras only capture 1 out of 10 motions. You can not have local storage (SD card or usb) and cloud storage at the same time. More then 1 person on the account can not be viewing the cameras at the same time or it will say the camera is busy. Video quality appears nice, but there’s apparently no option to simply watch a continuous live feed. It gets old clicking ‘resume’ every 30 sections in live view, and combined with the extended live view option not being available on these cameras is a downer. These cameras are very durable and the batteries last a long while unless you use the system a lot.

I purchased the cameras on a combined sale and bulk (5 cameras) that was 70+% off the typical price for a single camera. Many rate the camera high especially with regard to quality, features and functionality. Works "iffy" at best

Bought the 5 camera system from Lowes 6 months ago. Set up was not hard, cameras worked ok for about the first month. Since then I am constantly having to reset the cameras by removing the batteries. This product works great overall. It has a straightforward set up process & the app that it requires is simple & very easy to use. You can see clearly in the image the camera provides, easily switch sensitivity, length of video & video quality.
