The setup is easy and the cameras are ok, but even with a strong wifi connection, sync module signal, and fast internet speed, I often cannot see live view. I just get an endlessly spinning buffer icon. It's a different camera each time. If I go to another camera when one is failing, the other camera works fine. The battery life is great, and the range really impressed me — I have one camera on my shed a couple hundred feet from my Wi-Fi, and it connects like it’s right next to the box. Cameras that require subscription

Blink cameras are great when you have a subscription only. Without the yearly subscription, they're just motion sensors. No video will be viewable. Only live view, but by the time the camera loads, the potential person that set off the sensor has already broke into the house and you have no video to prove it was them. Good cameras

They are easy to set up for the most part. I ordered them new and opened what appeared to be new in the box. 4 camera set up and easy but the last one was showing to be registered to another account. I had to call Blink send them my receipt and they removed the camera from the other account and I was able to set it up. We purchased this set on a "flash sale" Lowes had,best purchase ever ! These camers work great,have great features and surprisingly the original batteries have lasted. It's also definatly worth the subscription to keep the cameras working the way when you first set them up you don't need to but the added features are great !
