I purchased the doorbell camera and 4 more add-on cameras. The setup was easy enough, and I didn't have any issues there. The problems I have are with device connectivity. Randomly, the app lets me know my Sync has been offline for over 30 minutes. That's 30 minutes of it not working before it tells you it's broken. Customer Support was not helpful. Paid extra to get the Sync Module, as all the info indicates this will replace the need for a monthly subscription. It sure sounds like you'd get the same service, but that's a lie. With the subscription you can immediately see a clip on your phone of what set it off. No can do with the module-you have to remove your supplied thumb drive and put it into your computer before you can see what happened. Frustrating
I purchased this from Lowe's and have spent about 10 trying to set it up. Very frustrating. I can not get the doorbell to take a thumbnail so I can setup motion detection zones. The camera takes a long time to connect to the live view, connecting to a little be view with my echo show is hit or miss usually more miss. I am sorry I purchased this, I would return it if I could BUT I am not sure Lowe's will take it back without all the packaging. This system is junk, total waste of money.

Don't waste your money unless you are willing to get sucked into a monthly fee. I purchased this with the sync module. Setup was easy but for everyday I would get a message stating that video backup to the module failed. I tried everything including different usb sticks but nothing worked. I now understand why they automatically set you up with a free 30 day cloud storage and that is because most people won't realize that it won't back up to your usb so you will be forced into paying a month...

Horrible experience with this blink video doorbell! The Sync module linked right up with my system, but I could not get the video doorbell to link up no matter what I did. It was suggested to load the sync module first and then the video doorbell. I did that and the doorbell would not link up. Easy install and works great. Sync hard setup
Doorbell and camera work great. Sync setup was very difficult, had to turn on port forwarding and need 2.4ghz to register. Then need to allow cloud subscription to expire or write tech support to allow free recording stored on usb stick. Once all working it is great! They really push subscription.

The Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 was super easy to both physically install & get running on my phone. The doorbell camera came with lithium batteries which advertise a 2 year life. The camera itself has a wide field of view & doesn't give a lot of false motion alerts.
