so far good for tomato plants

I put it in a bucket with some water from the barrels first to mix it and ten added it to the 3 barrels and mixed it again at a lower rate that it said in instructions and then used a pump hooked to a hose the pump it out to the veggie plants . there 3 55 gallon barrels 2 have ph up and 1 has ph down for the viggie plants thia way i can just pump the mixture to the roots of the plants through a soaker hose .Not tradition way to do it but so far it is working well .Plnted the tomatoes on...

Didn’t Work!

A little over two weeks ago, I added the Black Magic up and down PH nutrients to a struggling Tradescantia plant that refused to grow after moving it several months back. Should work well, but instructions are lacking.

This bottle of ph increaser seems like a great idea. I was hoping to use it to increase the ph around some fruit trees showing signs of ph imbalance. Unfortunately this product is lacking in instructions nor does it provide any way to test the ph. It seems to assume that I know all of this already and have my own ph test kit. And it seems like this bottle should last for a very long time as it in small amounts with additional tests between. Until I can get ph tests, I will have to wait and see h...

Test and treat low ph soil

The operative word to use this product is “test” ph first. You only need this if your gardening needs requires increasing ph which is only understood via a test that requires a small sundry of things - cup, measure, distilled water, coffee filter and ph strips none of whose are mentioned on the product label. Super potent pH increaser

Black Magic pH UP only takes a slight amount to increase the pH of your nutrient solution. Be careful not to over use when adding. Check your pH prior to adding this to the nutrient solution. Then, check pH again after you add this, before you apply to plants! You will need to research the desired pH for various plant life. A pH meter or litmus paper is required in order to determine the pH.

Does the job!

This product helps significantly in maintaining the pH at a suitable level and is easy to administer. Using a pH testing kit, you can easily determine how much more to add to a system and this product does the job without harming the plant or roots. Awesome product!
