We have used this tile before and loved it. Extremely bad quality control. 8 sq.ft. of tile in one box were not colored correctly. Can't return box after open. Really! Buyer beware! We needed 40 sq. ft. There are no extra tiles in a box. So now we are forced to paint it. NOT THE LOOK WE WERE LOOKING FOR!!

Measure each of the tiles in box

The tiles were not the same size as old tiles. As a matter of fact some tiles measured smaller or larger in same box. Not by much but when you want them to meet at seams they don’t.

Use regular paint NOT ceiling paint.

September 2019 product matched what we used in another room about 12 years ago. There were a few tiles that had problems but we used them for the cut pieces. In the other 2 rooms we had used previously we painted with we believe we used eggshell or possibly satin paint and the effect of the soft sheen is beautiful. Inconsistency in Tiles

Bought 5 Cases and after putting up about 40 tiles, found that the tiles not only looked different (not pressed to same depth, pattern week), they do not attach properly together and we are now going to have to caulk to fill in the space for 160 tiles! Too Many Manufacturers Defects

Pretty tiles but it appears surfaces were not completely cured prior to packaging. Surface design areas on one tile were damaged by back of next tile in box. Had fantastic contractor. Him and I tried to cosmetically salvage enough to compete project. You cannot paint them or warranty voided and acoustical properties compromised.

Inconsistent dimensions

The installation of this ceiling took much too long due to inconsistencies in the tile dimensions. In some cases it was necessary to try three or more tiles in one spot in order to get the pattern to properly align from tile to tile. On many of the tiles it appears that the pattern was slightly (perhaps just 1/32 .in) askew, just enough to make it difficult to get an acceptable alignment of pattern with adjacent tiles. I got 8 boxes for my living room. My wife put them up all by herself. We have a tongue and groove ceiling and she used an electric stapler (which is not recommended). She was careful with them and only damaged about 7 tiles. They look great. We put these same tiles in our kitchen about 13 years ago and they still look good. Poor Manufacture

Great design idea...horrible quality control. The pattern on many tiles is not centered. Some tiles have the pattern far left or right. Other tiles have the pattern too far up or down. Many even have crooked patterns to the tile edges. Because they are special ordered and take 2 weeks to receive, getting replacements is a cumbersome alternative.
