Cheap, thin, instantly damaged finish

I say this without exaggeration and as a very competent tradesperson -- these are nearly impossible to handle without damaging the black finish. The black is a super thin coating over white cellulose and is increadibly thin and scuffs at the slightest touch, revealing the highly contrasting cellulose below. Easy to install. I'm happy with the results

Have Lowe’s open all cartons and check each tile.

The tile corners were damaged in all three cases. The shipping carton should have more support in the corners. Will have to paint all the tiles. Touch up paint looked terrible.

Impressed by the quality

Bought three boxes of these. They cut like butter and easy to put up. First Two boxes were in good shape, but the third one had little bit of damage to it. I installed the full sized ones first and used the damaged ones as cut pieces, just to reduce waste. It would be nice if lowes had no damaged goods. You're selling things not breaking things, but I digest. All and all it turned out well and I would get them again.

Be careful

I orderer 3 boxes with 16 tile per box. Not only did i receive it late but I received ome box with 3 tiles in the box. They said they will make it right but I needed them by a certian date so I ended up going to the store and getting a different kind. It is an hour drive to the closest store. The quality of the tiles I did recieve were good!

Smell is awful

I purchased these tiles with the hopes of adding a unique look to my basement man cave with a black ceiling. The price was very reasonable and thought this was a perfect solution to having a black drop ceiling. I bought 15 boxes and installed 10 boxes of them. After nearly a month of them being up, the smell of them never went away. I have a 1200 sq ft basement and all you could smell walking down the steps of my basement was these ceiling tiles. Great for Drop Ceilings

Don't like that its not stocked in the stores and takes a while to come in. Also to many tiles per box its pretty heavy.
