It is absolutely criminal that Lowe’s and Amerimax have known about this blatant manufacturing defect for YEARS, yet continue to happily rip off unsuspecting consumers. Wavy Downspout
This downspout is very wavy on the house side and very thin. I was in a hurry so ordered online and picked it up.
Very low quality; seams split.
I guess it might be OK if you need exactly ten feet, but the seam will split if you try to cut it. Maybe I just got a bad lot, but then maybe the QC should be better.
Crimpy McCrimpington
I had to cut off about 2' for my application. It split the entire length at the seam. The aluminum was so thin there was no way to put it back together without damaging it. I think a more significant crimp might help but don't waste your time/money.
Selection at store scratched, paint chipped
Easy to cut to size and install. Buyer beware, unfortunately when you pick them out at the store, most are scratched and some are even missing paint in some places. Very annoyed since im forced to buy spray paint and seal the scratches/paint chips

Do not buy this product ever
Comes apart at the seam and the aluminum is as thin as a pop can. Very hard to work with. I’ll never buy any of this gutter system again. Same is true for the gutter.
Poor construction
Every downspout at the store but one had a defective, open seam. I bought the good one, but the seam still opened up on the short pieces I cut to use with elbows; I had to use rivets to close it back up.
Works, but not very straight
Downspout did its job. It was fabricated in a way that left a curve in the length.
Junk
junk split in the seam got to use 1 piece of it the rest is junk can't get to go back together
