1. It wasn’t following the temperature schedule. After searching online and trying lots of dumb things, I changed the time zone from ET to ET. Yeah. Then it worked better, but not always. 2. Great product
Easy install of you know what you are doing. The first 2 installs went well, the third one i needed some help. This particular unit is for a vacation rental and it now allows us to control what renters can set it to a week a giving us the ability to change settings ahead of time when we come to visit.

Not enough juice to power it
Could get it to work because Ionly ha e a white and red wires. You need all the wires to get enough power to get it to turn on.

Very short run cycle times
The thermostat was easy to install using the instructions on the Alexa app, but I still prefer printed instructions, which were not provided. Set up was easy, with the app doing almost everything automatically. The thermostat is sleek and has great potential, but has some obvious, serious flaws. Works great. I like being able to program the thermostat for diff temps depending on whether we are home, away, or sleeping. Also nice to be able to ask alexa to change temps if needed.
