Carpenter ants seem to be tough. So it's not an immediate kill in 24 hours. But within 24 hours they were still active but slower and jerking around which meant the product is working. Within 3 to 4 days they were completely gone. I highly recommend this product.

Worked FAST!!
This stuff worked super FAST!!! My development was basically built on top of an huge ant hill. Every spring is a battle. On top of that I had a bag of mulch outside waiting for me to get with it and when I finally opened it, they had gotten in and completely infested it. SO MANY EGGS...YUCK!!! New formula does not work as well
I've used Amdro for 25+ years. Swore by it. Applied it and in a day or two the mound was empty. But that was the WHITE BOTTLE. I looked at several stores for the white bottle Amdro before giving up and accepting that they had re-packaged it in the newer, more expensive BLACK BOTTLE. Apparently they did not only repackage it but changed the formula. It does not work like it used to. I applied and there were still some ants there 3-4 days later. Horrible sprayer
I dont leave reviews. The sprayer for this is horrible. Pump forever. No spray. Was going to open it and put in my small sprayer. Can't take off the cap. Had to puncture the bottle with a knife to pour it into another container. Glad I had my gloves on. I now have a spot next to the carport that will not have bugs for 100 years due to the amount I spilled trying to transfer to another container. Do better. $25 wasted.
Kill Ants?? Yes Please!!
Amdro ant block works great. I use it at the beginning of every season to keep the ants out of my house. On a brighter note, every ant I kill will serve me in the afterlife. So I have thousands of Ant servants to do my diabolical bidding when I met my maker! Bwah Ha Ha Ha!

Solid, effective, long lasting.
Bait works well and lasts. Keeps ants out of my kitchen for at least 3 months. Only downside is the shaker lid doesn't distribute the poison well. The granules get clumped up and you constantly have to shift it back n forth.
