Great product Easy Install

Would Recommend

I bought this to replace a smaller water heater that had a leak. This water heater was easy to install. I liked that the relief valve was in the side at the top instead of on the top. I used flexible stainless steel lines to hook to existing water supplies and installed a pressure relief tank above the water heater as well. It is working great.

Leaked from top on the first day of activation water poured out from where the electrical connection , this is so dangerous in so many ways , stay away from this product unless you want to get injured or have your house burned, then take a chance. I lost on the installation in the state of Connecticut

Defective Product

2 Days after installing the water heater, the heating element went out. I went back to Lowes and got a replacement and had it installed. Then my water started smelling, which was confirmed by a plumber to be due to the Anode rod. Since he was unable to remove the rod (which should have helped to solve the issue) he advised that I look into getting a warranty replacement for the entire unit. I was able to get a return authorization from the manufacturer, and a case number from Lowes support for a...

Product is good but delivery from Lowe's was delayed for inclimate weather that was gone by 9 am- no true reason for delivery delay. Therefore I had to wait on delivery for 2 days before it could installed and that was not satisfactory. Delivery guy was nice.

Our old hwt was in crawl space under our lake cabin. I wanted to have a more convenient location so we developed a pump chamber under our front deck. Height was limited so this lowboy unit with side connections fit the bill perfectly. One week after installation it is functioning very well. Very satisfied so far!
