Ratings & Reviews for Zwilling Madura Plus Forged 8inch Nonstick Fry Pan

Consistent Quality Products

I am very happy with this pan so far. It is durable and truly non-stick. I didn’t have to use butter to make cheesy eggs. The heat distribution is amazing — they browned very evenly and the eggs easily came off the pan to serve. I make it a point not to use any materials that could scratch the coating, but I will say it feels very sturdy and thick. I have always had great experiences with Zwilling products and this pan continues to remind me of why I am loyal to this brand.

Now own three sizes

Had to tighten th screw holding the handle on. I hope that is not an on-going issue. The pans are fantastic.

Better than my All Clad non- stick

I love this pan. Solid but not too heavy. Great handle and washes well.

Exceeds Expectations

Truly non stick which means the most minimal cleaning of any pan we have ever owned.

Disappointed

Eggs stuck to the pan the very first time I used it. Disappointed

Madura Plus Pans

I love the Madura Plus pans and have used them for about 3-4 years. This is a re-order. They cook very well, but the best part is the ease of cleaning. They are the easiest to clean pans I have ever used.

Takes forever to heat on induction cooktop.

The non-stick coating is great so far, but I bought this as one of the pans I needed for my new induction cooktop. I'm glad I only bought the small one, because it takes forever to heat up. I've learned to start it on the cooktop set on medium, then set the table, get the eggs out, crack them in a bowl if I'm scrambling the, put the bread in the toaster and then HOPE that the pan is hot when I pour the eggs in. Won't be buying any more of this style.

Pan does not hold up. Coating is disintegrating.

I have been using this pan regularly for two years and the inside is cracking, peeling and has become bumpy. I’m concerned the coating is getting into the food.

best egg pan out there!

Have always purchased their knives but tried this pan for full-proof fried eggs and extremely satified!

Quality

Have only used three times. That said everything slides right out and cooks evenly. I especially like the handle with no screws, easy to handle and clean. I'm saving for more like this fry pan.

Madura pans

So nice to have a non stick pan to cook with that I do not have to worry about being safe to cook with. These pans are incredible, very high quality

Durability is not its strong suit

We purchased several of these pans based on the. great NY Times article and other reviews. However, they are extremely fragile. Even with using pan protectors, the slightest touch eats the corners and liner causing aluminum to show. Also, the outside is like a magnet for stains and oil, and its outside texture makes it very difficult to clean. For the cost these underperform compared to very inexpensive pans.
