Chipped the blades on the 2 knives i tested it on
Would Not RecommendTried it on 2 of my Zwilling Knives and it wrecked both of them. I tried the Japanese side on my 5.5" Zwilling Santoku, and it chipped the edge really bad. I thought maybe it was a fluke or I did something wrong, or maybe the Japanese side was defective. So I tried the standard side on my 4" pairing knife... same problem, took a bunch of little chips out of the blade. I'm super disappointed with the product, and I'm really upset it damaged 2 of my knives instead of improving them. I'll add ...

Pricey but good investment for good knives.
Would RecommendPick-up however wasn't quite so smooth. I went to customer service as my email instructed but the item was not there. Since it had come in from outside the system it was somewhere in the back. Maybe a ten minute wait but not the smooth pickup anticipated. SYSTEM NOT EMPLOYEE ERROR.

Easy and foolproof
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is perfect for someone like me who cannot consistently maintain the correct angle on a traditional whetstone. I sharpened both zwilling knives and cheap kitchenaid knives back to slicing thru sheets of paper easily. It took all of 2 minutes to sharpen did not require any complicated soaking or technique like a traditional stone.
