Great for chopping vegetables
Would RecommendI got this in the mail a couple says ago and decided to make some tofu congee to test it out. It cuts scallions, ginger, leafy greens all beautifully, stems and all. it has a nice balanced lightweight feel to it and is easy on the hands. despite the blade not being as thick as a chef knife it also cuts dense root vegetables nicely as well. definitely recommend this if you frequently eat your veggies :)

Fits so well in my small hand.
The knife feels good in my hand and is so sharp. It slices beautifully. I usually hate prep work, but this knife makes it enjoyable again. I had not realized how dull my other knives were until I used this one. It is not just the sharpness of a new knife, though. It feels better in my hand than my others.

Nakiri to complete set
Would RecommendPurchased to complete a set of 15 kitchen knives and specifically for chopping vegetables. Like the other 14 (some of which we’ve had for 20+ years) this is an outstanding piece of workmanship. Utility and design define this series, as we learned after going through many knife sets of lesser quality, buy the best first and you won’t be disappointed.

Must have kitchen tool.
Very sharp and easy to maintain. The balance and feel are great. The blade stays sharpe only needing a quick stroke on a fine stone or strop. The Nakiri is a pleasure to use. It makes short work of veggie prep and gets me out of the kitchen faster. My 8 and 10 inch chefs knives are feeling somewhat neglected. Thanks for a great kitchen tool.
