The handles coating do not wear well - Slippery - beware
Would Not RecommendAll these knives are sharp, almost too sharp. After just a few few months of where the coding is coming off. These are also slippery. Jay Hinkle has offered to replace these with a similar item, but won’t provide a replacement with out these types of handles. The coding is just awful and have no confidence that these will be fine. Have to return at my expense for a replacement of the same stinky item.

I would also like to mention the block is an attractive wood grain that fits our kitchen decor perfectly. Missing Pieces
Would Not RecommendFirst my block came damaged. I receive a new on and that was fine. After opening the new block I opened my knives and there are 6 missing. I am very disheartened by this and will just purchase a different knife set at a store. It is not worth the effort of attempting to rectify this.

Best knife set I’ve ever purchased
Would RecommendFirst time purchasing a complete knife set and I’m super impressed and happy with its sharpness, easy handling. I can tell that I’ll be able to use them for years and years. Super easy to take care of and clean. Love that the block comes with each of its own knife sharpener. Well worth the money spent!
