What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door closer for its strong performance, ease of installation, and effectiveness in preventing slamming—especially in windy conditions. Most highlight the heavy-duty spring strength, noting it reliably keeps doors closed even in strong winds and eliminates annoying banging sounds. Installation is consistently described as simple and quick, often completed in under 15 minutes without prior experience, with all necessary hardware included. Many appreciate the adjustable closing speed and ability to reuse existing brackets. A small number report durability concerns, with some noting reduced effectiveness after about a year, though most still consider it a worthwhile upgrade from lighter-duty alternatives.

Windy day
Would RecommendOn a windy day my storm door flew open and bent the old slash. I had to replace it which I did.

Not sure I would consider this "Heavy Duty" but it works ok. Not much adjustment in it.

Good product
Product is good, although speed adjustment is somewhat tricky, at least for the heavy glass door I'm using this closer for.

Works great
Yes, I had a storm at my house and when I opened the door the wind pulled it out of my hand and bent both closures. I bought the heavy duty ones and they work great.
