Many highlight the comfortable, balanced build that enables extended yard work without fatigue, with reviewers in their 60s and 70s noting it allows them to continue yard maintenance easily. Most report completing full yard trimming on a single battery charge and appreciate the seamless switching between trimming and edging functions. Would Not RecommendI've had one for 8 years. It works like a charm. I thought I'd order another one just in case. I have used the old one like crazy. The new one locked up after about four uses

I control the trimmer line!!
Would RecommendI received my online purchase but was slow to get it unboxed. Once I used it I am so glad I bought this Worx string trimmer and edger. The biggest reason is the proprietary command button that you decide when to release extra line. So many are made with auto feed. Shut down to move a few feet and it immediately feeds line. What a waste. It's not too heavy for an older person like myself and so easy to use. Since I have no experience with edging I will need to learn where the line cuts.. Mine...

WG165 versus WG160
Would Not RecommendI bought the 163 after my original 160 died. It does not begin to compare to the original. Very disappointed. 1) string is more complex to advance, harder to adjust height and head angle. 2) Battery life is poor. I used to finish all of my trimming with the 2 batteries with the 160. With the 163 I go through the 2 batteries and not finished.

Love the shared batteries and the versatility of t
I gave my other one to my son and because it was so easy to use and had great battery life I bought another. I have other Worx tools that share batteries and they work great.

Worx Trimmer/Edger
Would RecommendThis needs to have a" lock-on" button sequence to keep the machine running. It is very uncomfortable and UNESESSARY to have to HOLD the trigger closed for a several minutes to cut a length of grass... Arghhhhh. The head angle adjust needs to be reworked--every time I have to change the head angle, it sounds like I'm going to break the plastic into pieces. I'm not sure how this bodes for the long term.

Great Value and It Works
This trimmer is brand new for me so I don't have long term experience. That said, the price is a great deal and the trimmer works well so far. The only thing I don't like is how the trimmer must be reoriented in order to use it as an edger and take advantage of the wheel. A rotating shaft would be nice. Instead, there is a hinge down by the trimmer head that depends on force for adjustment. Instructions suggest that you step on the trimmer head and then fold the handle. Easier said than done bec...
