What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the bit holder's secure retention and effortless bit exchange, with many highlighting the reliable locking mechanism and quick release. The compact, non-spinning design with floating cylinder earns frequent approval for tight-space access and ergonomic control. Most value the integrated magnet, though some find it underwhelming. However, a notable group reports durability concerns, citing premature failures, weak build quality, and a flimsy feel after limited use. Despite these inconsistencies, most customers consider the innovative design and reliable performance worthwhile.

Would Not Recommend2 day shipping turned into 2 weeks. Didn’t have the chance to use them for the project I needed them for because I was finished before they arrived!
Love this bit holder. I even demonstrated to a few friends and they purchased it from Lowes.

Garbage
Would Not RecommendI've bought 2 of these and both have failed or became locked in some fashion. It starts with it won't release my bit then it goes to it won't lock a bit in or won't hold it at all. Won't be purchasing another and moving on to something with better quality
Good Upgrade
Would RecommendRecently I purchased a Metabo DB3DL2 cordless screwdriver. My only complaint with it is that the collar on the bit holder has to be pulled back to both insert and remove bits, making it a two hand job. This Wiha bit holder solves that problem. It will even lock and hold small 1 inch bits securely, and if the small ...
Perfect
Would RecommendThis is a perfect accessory for locking your hex end drill and screw bits into your screw gun or drill. Magnetic holders work great for many applications, but not so much when trying to back out a drill bit.

doesn't release bits
Would Not RecommendLowe's didn't have much of a selection of 2 in extensions for bit holders, this was the right size and the only one they had so I bought it. from the start, it's very difficult to release different hex bits, it should be almost instantaneous and it will not let them go.
Nice bit holder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the positive tactile “click” of the lock engaging the bit and the way the bit release pops the bit out for easy changes. The sleeve freely moves around the holder so you can grasp it while fastening for extra control if you need it.

Good enough, but not the brand I was seeking
Would RecommendGiven the limited options, this was the best I could find. The store used to offer a wider selection of parts, but I believe Lowes is no longer the shopping place it once was and it now focusing on basic DIY customers versus the more full time/professional trades
