Our electricity has been going out because of many storms. We have 2 freezers full of food and didn't want to loose all that money. We bought this generator and love it.Easy to start and very quiet.

bought this '26 summer for work and getting out. quiet power enough for what i require and love the dual fuel. easy to start and carry as needed. love the retractable handle

Not a good choice if long term storage is required

This is a not a good option if your use case disaster preparedness where the unit will require long-term storage. The instructions and steps required are poorly explained with instructions not being consistent with the unit.

It worked well until it didn't

Worked great the first camping weekend. The following season's trip, it ran for about an hour, then it quit. From then on, it would start and immediately shut itself off. I suspect a failed CO or Oil sensor. Exceptionally frustrating.

Great features, light weight and pretty quiet.

We just purchased this generator and so far, we are happy with it.

Just bought it and unboxed it. Very well built. Runs quieter than my previous generator.

Have used it several times and it works great, ran our RV air conditioner at elevation 9500

It's a pretty quiet generator and it started up quickly. It's working as it should so far.

Won't run and horrible customer service

I bought this generator from Lowes on July 8th. It is now August 5th. I intended to run this generator only on propane. To this day I have not been able to get the generator to run. I have been through many troubleshooting emails with Westinghouse. They sent me a new propane regulator and I've tried two different full propane tanks. Lowes will do nothing...only refer me to Westinghouse. Completely unacceptable customer service from both Lowes and Westinghouse. I bought a brand new product from L...

Good for an RV.

I have been using the igen4000dfcv for a few weeks now. So far it has been working very good. Easy to start and runs the rv air conditioner. No issues.

Initial impression

Just got this yesterday. Bought it for boondock camping but we ended up with a power outage from storms. Unfortunately could not use it to its full capacity since I had to break it in first. Initial impressions are good, seemed to handle the loads attached and is very quiet. A bit harder to start than I expected, but that may be because it was first run (on propane). Wish I had gotten the electric start model.

Perfect for camping

I bought this generator to power my camping trailer when boondocking, and initial field tests pass with flying colors! I can run AC and the unit doesn’t even flinch. Quiet, compact, well-crafted product!

Dual Fuel and Quality

I bought a Westinghouse 2200 a few years ago and have been really happy with it. I recently purchased a camper that needed more watts to run the AC. After researching Westinghouse I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly and it's an added benefit to be able to use propane!
