Nice little generator

We haven't had to use the generator yet (which is good, it's for power outages) but it's relatively simple to operate and is light enough for my wife to move without my help. The fact that the first fill of engine oil is actually included is also handy.

Great features

I bought this for the dual fuel capabilities. Runs great on propane and powers my 15 travel trailer with ease. With its 30 amp plug it’s easy and safe to run. Also nice to have the weight down to 42lbs for moving around.

Impressive generator with it's cast iron cylinder

I have been using this duel fuel generator a few days now. Both on gas and propane, charging solar batteries when it's cloudy. Also running on propane at night for lightning up our cabin.

Difficulties start and stopping despite full tank of gas. May be user error, but once we got it rolling worked great.

I purchased our Westinghouse iGen2200DFc recently. We are in the break in phase using propane. We are very pleased with the generator. It is lightweight and quiet. I am also pleased with the time meter and a long propane hose. Other companies propane hoses are shorter. We decided to buy a generator after we dealt with Hurricane Heleen that struck NW North Carolina. We were lucky. Only one tree fell on our roof, crashing through our roof, attic, and through the ceiling into our daughter's bedroom...

Great machine

Much quieter than a regular generator and nice to have dual fuel capabilities!

Very quiet. I already own a larger Westinghouse open frame and it has been extremely reliable for power outages. This is a much quieter upgrade that can run the fridge and furnace fan during winter outages, and power our RV AC on summer boondocks.

Little power house for its size!

I just received the item. Nice design. Spark plug is easily accessible. I like the digital data center screen. They even provide a replacement parts list. Designed in the USA and made in Vietnam. I am planning to use it mostly with propane. For a 2800w max generator which can still be lifted with one hand, that's not bad. Have not done long term testing yet but am confident it will perform well. Will update review if not.

Great features & color

looks very nice. like the way everything is neatly packaged. Bought to take on camping trip, just incase. Liked the price for the features it has. Westinghouse has always been a good name.

Has Great features!

I purchased this yesterday and found it to be very well packaged. Added the oil and some gas 2-3 pulls it started right up. Very quiet even with a 1500-watt heater load periodically. The manual needs a section explaining the five displays on the LED Data Center.

Relatively quiet dual fuel generator with 30amp RV

I bought this generator a few months ago primarily for powering my travel trailer and recharging the battery. Unfortunately we haven't been able to field test it yet. I did test it in storage and it performed great. I wish it was a little quieter, but it's not too bad. Only tried it on gas so far. Plan to try it on propane on an upcoming trip.

SO FAR SO GOOD

I bought this to run a portable air conditioner in case of a power outage here in central Florida. Dual fuel, since propane lasts longer than gasoline. I do have gasoline that I treat and rotate regularly. It's good to have both options in case of a prolonged outage. Being an Inverter generator I can charge my battery backup system if the sun doesn't shine for a couple of days. Not likely here in Florida, but nice to have that option also. I just set up the Westinghouse iGen2800DFc, and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly it went. Following the quick-start guide, I added the included oil and filled it with gas.
