Sturdy, lightweight 16' Ladder

Very pleased with this new ladder. Much more sturdy than my old one.

Works as expected. Was in stock and took forever to ship to me. Should have borrowed a truck and picked up in store. The depot of homes said shipping was 2 days not a month fwiw

AL. Ladder but Steel Connector Bolts Rust

It seems strange to me that an aluminum ladder would rely upon what appears to be non-galvanized steel bolts to secure the spring loaded rung hooks into the brackets and, the swivel feet. It is difficult to determine if what I see is simply surface oxidation or substantial structural degradation of the through bolts that would compromise the safety of secure support when climbing the ladder. If my concern is unwarranted (surface oxidation) then I would like to know. Otherwise, I would like to ...

16 aluminum ladder

The ladder was on sale for $79.00 which I thought was an good deal, until I took it home. The ladder is very flimsy made out of light weight aluminum which bends easily which is the reason I rated it as such. I would pay more and get a better ladder. I guess you get what you pay for....

16 foot aluminum 200 lb type 111 extension ladder

Love the light weight and how easily to extends without a rope. I had to return it for a longer (and, alas, heavier one) because I was confused by how short it was by the numbers on the label. I wish the total length of the extended ladder from ground to where it hit the wall had been on the label.

Nice average ladder

I don't think this will stand up to heavy use but it is exactly what I need. I'll only use it once in a while to check gutters. It only has a 200lb load limit so that's extra incentive to watch my weight. Very cheaply made but that just makes it very light and easy to carry. I do however think it is a bit over priced.

Extendable ladder?

Tall ladders are awkward to use at the best of times and the last thing you need is an awkward extend/reduce height mechanism. Yes this ladder does extend but the crude nylon rope combined with an el cheapo pulley mechanism means that actually extending or reducing the length of this ladder will cause a lot of frustration. Frequent jams are inevitable and mine has now fully jammed. So I'll ditch the rope and have a good look at replacing the pulley mechanism too. Hopefully then I can have an ext...

It works

This was a good deal (it was on sale). It works great so far (I used it to access the roof to clean out gutters). Not until I put it away did I realize that it was dented. Oh well, it doesn't affect the performance and I should have given it a once-over at the store, which I didn't.
