in addition to aiding indirect cooking, these backets can be put together in the middle of the grate (flat sides touching each other) so you can bring the coals right up to the steak you want to sear. Also excellent for using just a few briquettes if cooking for two.

Would RecommendI bought these by mistake. The Master touch kettle I bought has a system already in place for indirect cooking. That said, these are good quality and worth the buy for anyone who has a normal kettle grill and is starting to expand to long duration indirect grilling and cooking.
