I bought 3 of these and the hunky iron device to screw these into the ground with the battery powered drill-screwdriver. Once I got it lined up right to one of the large holes in my cast iron filigree umbrella stand, it screwed in easily; it held the stand firm in the ground on the lawn on a slight hill, and the big rectangle umbrella stayed securely upright even though it was slanted with the hill.
