This primer, for lack of better words, sucks. I can't recommend a product that claims in its name bonding and stain blocking. It is well below par at both tasks and takes up to FOUR COATS to bond and cover even some of the most well prepped surfaces.

Does NOT bond to glossy surfaces
Would Not RecommendUsed recently to recoat a bathroom vanity with a factory finish. Applied, let dry according to directions and then applied a cabinet waterborne top coat. Waited 48 hours and then checked and the paint scrapes off super easy all the way to the factory finish. Stay away!

Would RecommendLowe’s paint salesperson was very helpful pointing me to this primer, to hid previous neon green color on walls, even with just the primer the rooms looks brand new.

Would Not RecommendPurchased this as a bonding primer for a piece of laminated furniture. Followed all of the instructions and it still did not bond well. The finished product which has Sherwin Williams Cabinet & Furniture paint on it is very disappointing.

Would RecommendWas on the fence of using Bin primer and this, but with this product coming in at nearly half the price figured why not. AND.... was not disappointed, same results, great coverage even over heavy shade paint.
