Works great and is so simple to use. Make sure you mix thoroughly.

Works perfectly when used as directed.

Be sure & mix in SLOWLY & mix often. Don't dump it in all at once. Results will be as desired if you follow the instructions.

1 pack per gallon

Added the to 1 gallon of floor paint and it works very well. 1/2 pack per gallon would also have worked. The surface is extremely rough now so no more slipping on the steps.

Worked better than I though. No, it's not blue!

Used this in 2 gallons of Valspar solid stain. Thought I was going to need more, but it covered better than I thought it would. We will see how this amount works over the next few months as an anti-skid. It has the texture of sandpaper. The last stain I had on there was like ice when wet. The color is neutral. Valspar should have just left any color text off the package. They identified the blue color, because it is the color of the stain in the photo... that's all. I used mine in the Pal...

Good for porches and outdoor stairs.

This mixes well with any paint and makes the surface anti-skid especially for porches.

Non-slip deck floor

I could not find the bran of non slip paint that I had used several years ago. Lowe's pain associate recommended the textured additive. I stirred in one packed to a gallon of paint. It goes on smooth. The texture is perfect! Deck is non-slip even when completely wet.

anti-skid for Valspar floor paint

This is fine sand to add to floor paint. One pack is enough for 2 gallons. I used it to paint the inside of a box-trailer, adding the anti-slip to the floor and the ramp.

Use more than recommended

Easy to use. Use more though than recommended for traction. We thought, based on the instructions, that 1/2 bag was enough for a gallon of paint. Not enough! Use at least 2/3 bag per gallon of paint for moderate traction.
