What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the paint for exceptional one-coat coverage, smooth application, and fast drying times. Many highlight the built-in primer's effectiveness when covering darker or textured surfaces without requiring additional primer. Reviewers consistently note vibrant, accurate colors and appreciate the ease of use with both rollers and brushes. Strong brand loyalty is evident, with many expressing intent to repurchase. A small number report inconsistent coverage in certain batches or mention tape peeling during cleanup, though these concerns are far outweighed by positive feedback. Overall, most customers consider it excellent value and highly recommend it.

I bought this earlier this month and the floor associate was being nice to both me and my 23 month old! The paint turned out exactly the color I needed and looks great in the space used

Amazing deep color and good coverage
Would RecommendI purchased the Valspar Ultra Eggshell (Base C) at my local Lowe's to paint a dark navy blue accent wall. Since it is a base for deep tones, I was worried it would require too many coats, but the Scrub Shield technology worked beautifully. With just two coats, I achieved an even, vibrant color with no roller marks. The Eggshell finish is perfect because it is not too glossy but still super easy to clean. The staff at Lowe's did a flawless job with the tinting. Highly recommended!
