Never Held programmed settings

This is still sitting in my cabinet, should have retured it. Ive read the poorly written instructions, programmed more times than i can remember always waiting for the programed time to work, or turn light off. Its been a long long disappointing wait & waste of time & money. The older model worked, this one never ever did. Nice General Purpose Timer

I wanted to upgrade the timer to turn ON and OFF my indoor Christmas lights. This was the ideal replacement to the old mechanical timer that have a circular round pins. The programming is simple, it also has a random RNMD function to change the start-stop timer set-point. My only dislike is it only has 1 receptacle for the load. On several locations I had to add a 1 to 3 plug extension to satisfy the electric cord requirement. A good timer.

Not so easy but works great.

This time does exactly what it is suppose to do, turn things on and off. Not the easiest to set up, but once done, works great. One important thing, it will not work the first day if it is set to start at a time already past (set to start a 4pm and it's now 4:05). It will begin automatic timing the next day. It will work, just has this limitation.

I bought 8

Two years ago I bought 8 of these timers. They were a pain to program till I read the directions. Realize that the technical writers probably had help from someone who learned English in secondary school! That being said, the directions are complete and accurate. Junk

First unit would not respond to any buttons. Lowes exchanged it. Second unit worked randomly. Wasted several hours trying to get it to work. Do not buy.

Works but confusing

This item items but instructions are confusing. Takes some tweeking but finally got it to work.

Should not be this complicated

Way to may functions to push to get the timer set.

Bought 4

Bought 4. 2 didn't seem to charge properly to set. Unplugged and reset. A little difficult to program, once thru a 2 day cycle they all seem to work fine.

I didn't realize it wasn't a grounded receptacle. I do like the fact that it is a digital easy to use timer

Didn't work correctly

Internal clock ran in hyper-speed rendering it useless.

Digital timer

It’s quite useful and saves energy. I use this timer to switch off some of my equipment not to operate during peak time 5 to 8 pm. It saves a lot.

For the Price

Thia items works well for the price, recommend to use indoors not to be used outdoors.
