What Customers Are Saying
The work light provides bright, effective illumination for large areas, but some customers have reported issues with heat generation, durability, and assembly. The halogen bulbs can become very hot during use, and there are frequent complaints about bulbs burning out quickly, switches malfunctioning, and light heads failing after limited use. While the light is considered a good value, the reliability problems seem to be a common frustration for many customers.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. The light is very bright but I like the fact that I can adjust the intensity. It does produce a lot of heat though which might be good if working on a cold day.
Too Hot
Would Not RecommendTwo 500 watt quartz bulbs produce ALOT of heat. Wishing that I had paid more and gotten an LED light. While this one is very bright and the tripod is outstanding the heat produced in remodeling a house with no AC on a hot summer day was toasty.
Work stand light
Would RecommendI bought this for a backyard gathering. It has two but only needed one to be on. Very bright. Glad they can be turned on and off individually.
Versatile
Would RecommendLive these buckets. Literally perfect for everything. I use them for everything between mixing grout and mortar to picking blueberries and vegetables
Good shop light for the price
Would RecommendThe set up was fairly simple despite the instructions not being the best. Provides quite a bit of light, but does not have any brightness adjustability that I can see.
Customer service very friendly and helpful
Would RecommendFound what I was looking for at a short time
bulb
Used this light one time. Went to use last night and one of the bulbs is already bad. Other than that, the one time I used it, it performed as should.
You get what you pay for
Would Not RecommendGood product for the price. Extremely hot and one of the bulbs went out after about 10 hours.
Easy to set up and use
Would RecommendThe bulbs do not last long, but was easy to set up and use.
Allen, Tx Lowes
Would Not RecommendI will never shop at a Lowe’s again in my life. If you are the only store that sell whatever product it is. I don’t need it.

Buy extra bulbs! The ones that cone with the light
Would RecommendOverall the lights are great. However, the bulbs burned out on the third day of use.
Burned out in 6 weeks
Would Not RecommendWaste of money. We used this to paint 2.5 rooms. It burned out in less than 2 months and very few hours of actual use. We mainly just used one side because its too hot with both. The lamp got hot enough to actually change the paint color.

Would Not RecommendWithin 5 minutes of this light being plugged in one of the halogen bulbs blew. I returned it the day after I purchased it to Lowes. Thankfully I was able to get my money back. I bought an LED light which is working great.
